Meet Shalini. She believes that Corning’s culture of learning and knowledge sharing has driven her professional growth. She joined Corning as a data analyst. Since then her scope of work has broadened to add a data governance aspect to the role. “Corning has given me the opportunity to expand my professional skillset and learn something new every day,” Shalini says.
Shalini believes Corning values the efforts of employees and gives them space to communicate. Shalini’s managers have played a pivotal role by shaping her career growth and encouraging her to speak up. “At Corning, I have always found it comfortable to express my ideas and thoughts as my managers are supportive. I strongly feel that Corning lives by its Values and the people that I have come across reflect the same values,” adds Shalini.
Shalini is a part of the Global Supply Management Asia initiative, a mentorship program for women employees. She credits her current mentor for acting as a torchbearer and helping her choose the best career path.
