Meet Seh’ba. She believes that Corning provides a conducive environment where all employees work in a cohesive manner towards a common goal – to take Corning India to new heights. “The company appreciates the unique strengths each individual bring to the table,” she says.
She loves Corning’s culture. “It’s very warm and supportive,” she states. It’s a culture that is driven by the seven sacrosanct Values of Corning.
“Personally, Corning has taught me some invaluable lessons, such as the Values of the individual and integrity. The Values at Corning run deep in every Corning employee and they genuinely live the Values. Corning’s Values find a place not only internally but also when taking objective business decisions. This is something I admire and hope to carry with me,” she says.
An English major and a law graduate, Seh’ba has worked with Corning since 2019. She attributes much of her professional growth and learning to the leadership team and her peers.
“Being legal counsel, I’ve always been measured with my time but when I joined Corning, I was encouraged to always seize every opportunity that comes my way with a mindset that I can learn a thing or two from every project or initiative. This has yielded excellent results for me and I would recommend it to everyone. You end up acquiring so many useful skills and connections in this process.”
Seh’ba is proud of the skills she has attained leading the Corning Women's Partnership for Growth (CWPG) forum in India. “I have worked with the CWPG leadership team to elevate the forum which has created opportunities and visibility for women in Corning India,” she says beaming with pride.
