According to Construction Products Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 (CPR) of the European Commission all cables that are to be permanently installed in buildings need to be constructed and tested in accordance with the new harmonized standard, which was adopted on the 9th of March, 2011 and supersedes the previous Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC.
All products subject to CPR must be covered by a manufacturers Declaration of Performance (DoP), which must be made available to the customer. The DoP number is a component of the CE label on the packaging and/or cable product. For the fibre optic and copper cables which are affected, you will find a valid certificate for conformity in the download section.
