Corning products are sold in Latvia by distributors. The distributor acts as the importer of the equipment into Latvia. Thus the distributor has the legal responsibility to:
- Register as the WEEE producer in Latvia.
- Finance arrangements for collection and recycling of WEEE arising from Corning products that the distributor sells in Latvia.
