CORNING® GORILLA® GLASS 6
Our devices are always at hand — which means they’re always at risk for potentially damaging drops. To solve for this, Corning scientists engineered tougher, drop-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6. In our lab tests, Gorilla Glass 6 survived drops from up to 1.6 meters onto hard, rough surfaces. That’s the average worldwide height. Under the same test conditions, at 1.6 meters, competitive aluminosilicate glass, from other manufacturers, couldn’t survive the first drop. Gorilla Glass 6 also delivers up to 2x improvement in scratch performance compared to competitive aluminosilicate.
