A history of contribution, tranformation, and growth.
Corning started operations in 1966, with Life Sciences as the first division in Mexico.
Optical Communications division arrived 30 years later, when Reynosa started operations with 1,000 employees in Plant 1, rapidly increasing its numbers as operations expanded due to the increase of market demand on connectivity solutions.
In 2011, RCC (Reynosa Cable and Connectivity) plant opened, being the first Plant in Mexico with cable manufacturing (Optical Fiber C) and Cable Assembly Operations (Optical Connectivity Solutions).
One year later, plant 2, CFX became Reynosa Assembly Manufacturing. During the same year, the Reynosa Warehouse Distribution started their first logistics operations.
In 2018, Reynosa Components and Solutions (RCS), was designed with an open office concept, allowing all employees to work in an environment that facilitates communication and ideation.
All plants together employ today the largest workforce and makes Corning in Reynosa, the biggest employer in the Region.
