Terms of Use for Corning Incorporated Social Media Properties
By participating in discussion on Corning’s Social Media properties, you agree not to submit content that: (a) you know to be inaccurate (b) is slanderous, harmful, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, racist, violent, offensive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable to Corning or other Social Media users; (c) includes unauthorized disclosure of personal information or confidential information; or (d) violates or infringes anyone's intellectual property rights. You agree not to submit materials designed to interfere with the functionality of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment. Corning reserves the right to edit or delete any content that violates these terms or that contains third-party commercial advertisements.
Information posted to Corning’s Social Media properties will not be treated as proprietary or as confidential. The submission of such information to Corning shall not restrict the purchase, manufacture, or use of similar products, services, plans, and ideas by Corning for any purpose whatever, and Corning shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute the information to others without restriction.
Corning’s Social Media properties may contain links to other sites not under the www.corning.com domain or not owned by Corning. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and you agree to abide by these respective sites terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by non-Corning sites. Corning does not endorse, warrant or guarantee the products or services described or offered in these other websites nor has Corning made or received any payments for the posting of these links.
Corning occasionally works with influencers to sponsor content on their social media, blogs or websites. In these cases, Corning has compensated the influencer in exchange for providing content or writing a review. Corning will designate content created by these compensated influencers by using branded content tags when applicable and the term #sponsored where it is easily noticed and understood in social media posts to distinguish these posts from other content.
Corning does not intend to collect information from children under the age of thirteen (13) without the consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of thirteen (13) should only submit information to Corning with the prior consent of their parent or legal guardian. If your child has submitted personal data to Corning’s Social Media properties and you would like to request that such information be removed, please contact us at [email protected] and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure such information is removed.

Corning’s Engagement Guidelines
At Corning, we are working to turn possibilities into realities in the area of specialty glass and ceramics technology. Through Corning’s social media accounts, we aim to provide you with engaging content on Corning’s technology, culture, activities, and initiatives.
The posting and presence of any content on social media does not necessarily mean that Corning agrees with the content, ensures its accuracy or otherwise approves of it. Nothing in any social media page constitutes a binding representation, agreement or an endorsement on the part of Corning.
We welcome you to follow any of Corning’s social media pages. While you’re with us, we hope you’ll take a moment to read the following guidelines we ask you to follow when contributing a comment or tagged post:
