Corning® Dynamic Décor™ transforms automotive displays into true-color patterns, such as wood, leather, or carbon fiber

CORNING, N.Y. — Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) and CarUX are proud to announce that Corning® Dynamic Décor™, a next-generation vision solution for automotive display and design, won a 2025 CES Best of Innovation award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category. The CES Best of Innovation award is the organization’s highest honor.

Dynamic Décor helps redefine the in-cabin experience by concealing an automotive display entirely behind exquisite true-color patterns, such as wood or leather, when the display is powered off. However, when the display is switched on, a high-quality display image becomes visible without any color interference from the cover glass.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized for this latest innovation and for our long-standing partnership with CarUX, and its parent company, Innolux,” said Mike Kunigonis, Vice President and General Manager, Corning Automotive Glass Solutions. “With Corning’s 100-plus years in the automotive industry, Dynamic Décor is another example of how our strong partnerships are helping deliver the automotive designs of the future.”

Dynamic Décor features exceptional durability, optical clarity, and customizable aesthetics. It is made from AutoGrade™ Corning® Gorilla® Glass and is enabled by Corning® ColdForm™ Technology. ColdForm allows automotive displays to be shaped at room temperature, helping lead to a more sustainable manufacturing process for automakers. Automakers can seamlessly integrate Dynamic Décor into their design and manufacturing processes. Users can handle Dynamic Décor’s surface just like standard Gorilla Glass.

“We’re committed to providing a harmonious user experience in a car, and it is a great honor that the co-creation, with our partner Corning, is recognized as a Best of Innovation for in-vehicle entertainment," said Thei ven Bergen, Chief Technology Officer, CarUX. "This collaboration is a testament to our shared value to drive the next generation of automotive designs and to create more options for differentiation."

Dynamic Décor delivers a vivid visual experience, even in challenging lighting conditions. The display can dynamically tilt to allow for excellent image clarity and quality from multiple viewing angles.

CES is one of the world’s largest and most influential technology trade shows. The annual CES Innovation Awards® program honors outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. A panel of judges chose Dynamic Décor from numerous nominees for the Best of Innovation award.

This is the second year in a row that Corning Automotive Glass Solutions has earned recognition at CES. In 2024, Corning® LivingHinge™ Technology won a Best of Innovation Honoree award. Dynamic Décor and LivingHinge are among the many Corning innovations driving the automotive experience of the future.

Corning will be in the West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center at booth #3340 from Jan. 7-10. Appointments are available for automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and limited members of the media. For appointments, contact Jake Pagragan: [email protected].
